Happy Friday! It’s been a whirlwind this month, filled with fun projects left and right. Earlier this week, I shared an inside look into my daughter’s nursery. And today, I get the chance to open the doors to my home to show you how we did things this holiday season. When The Avery Grace invited me to participate in the Holiday Home Tour, I was more than excited to join alongside some incredible bloggers and businesses.
Let me start by saying, as a mom of a two year old boy and a newborn baby girl – it may not be calm, but it sure is bright this holiday season! The more the merrier holds a whole new meaning this year.
I love filling my home with the warmth of the Christmas spirit and all the holiday traditions that go along with it! There is just something so magical about sipping coffee in front of the tree every morning, playing holiday tunes in the evenings, and filling the day with seasonal activities with my kids that make my heart happy.
How fun is this Santa Countdown Pillow? It has a chalkboard area where you can write the number of days left until Santa comes!
My son loves waking up each morning to see how many days he has. Can you believe there’s just 14 days left until Christmas? I still have so many presents to get!
You can find the pillow here.
Gingerbread houses and Elf on the Shelf are new family traditions we have started this year.
My son loves “Elf!” (he doesn’t quite get the concept of naming him yet… so for now, we just shout ELF when we see spot him in the house).
While it’s important to keep things fun for the kids, mom & dad need to keep things jolly as well! Let’s be honest, the holidays can bring a few headaches along the way. And as a wine enthusiast, I HAD to get this Karen Didion Originals Wine Santa when I spotted him! We throw the corks into the barrel and he definitely adds some holiday cheer when mama needs a drink!
To wrap things up, may we always remember the reason for the season!
